Happy summer everyone! If I'm being completely honest, I'm not a fan of summer. Heat and I don't mix very well. I'm also on SSRIs so my poor little body finds it too difficult to regulate temperature and I end up an overheated mess who's unable to sleep and highly irritated.
It is a great time to head out with my camera, though! So here are some of my summer pics for your wallpapers this month.

There's so many pretty flowers in bloom during August, so I love getting a few close-ups. They always make for some great wallpapers too!

One thing about me is that I'm always going to find a nice lake to sit by in the summer so I can open my sketchbook and take a moment for myself. And take some pictures whilst I'm there, of course.

Sunflower season is upon us!! My dad had a tradition of growing some every year, and I've tried my best to keep it up since he passed away. They always remind me of him, so they're one of my favourite flowers.

Golden hour is more difficult for me to capture in the summer with the sun staying out later. Unlike the summer sun, I don't like being out late because I'm a homebody who wants to be in bed with a cup of tea by 9pm. I always set a few days aside to walk to my local woodlands with my camera though because nothing beats a good sunset.
I hope you've found the perfect August wallpaper amongst my pictures this month - if you're anything like me then it's the sunflower. 🌻 I'm beyond excited for next month because I can make a start on my autumn photography. It's my absolute favourite season to be out with my camera! But until then, have a lovely summer.
